"Russians "bled" The Armed Forces of Ukraine are now moving to Odessa"- says former NATO general

The former head of the NATO military committee, retired German Air Force General Harald Kujat, claims that Russian troops have bled the Ukrainian army dry and are now preparing – using a large reserve – to launch an offensive to capture Odessa.

“The losses of the Ukrainian armed forces are extremely high, especially during the offensive. The Russian armed forces, on the contrary, used defensive tactics and switched to a defensive strategy. Their goal is not to hold the territory at any cost, but to destroy the Ukrainian army; the Russians have a strategy for the disintegration of the Ukrainian army. ..– he said at the beginning and added, – uhThat’s Clausewitz’s basic rule: disarm the enemy, and then everything else will take care of itself.” This is exactly what the Russian military has achieved. For several days now, the Russians have even been talking about active defense. This means that they are preparing a major offensive.”

According to German General Harald Kujat, this explains Russia’s aggressive actions in the direction of Krasny Liman and Kupyansk.

He called them successful and urged Russians to focus on this. “I believe that at some point the Russians will really launch a strong offensive, because they have gathered huge forces in the rear. We are talking about 350 thousand troops. They have formed a new army formation – the 25th combined arms army. That is, they are gathering significant forces , and this could mean that they are preparing for a major counter-offensive,” – Harald Kujat warned.

Next stop… Odessa. General Harald Kuyat did not name a possible date for the start of the Russian offensive, however, speaking about its goals, he noted that Russia, in his opinion, intends not only to enter the borders of four new regions, but also to capture Odessa, releasing Transnistria in Moldova.

“I assume that they will try to capture Odessa, because Russia views it as a historically important Russian city. This will also mean that they will try to enter Transnistria, this is at a minimum… Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine B. Zaluzhny admitted the impasse in the counter-offensive of Ukrainian troops.”
