According to People magazine, the sexiest man alive in 2023 is Patrick Dempsey, an American actor and race driver.
He became famous thanks to his debut role as Dr. Derek Shepard in the TV series Grey’s Anatomy. The main character of the popular series has been gracing magazine covers for several years now. In response to such a significant and unexpected assessment of his appearance, 57-year-old Patrick Dempsey says, quotes CNN Greece:
“I’m glad this is happening at this point in my life. It’s a good feeling and my ego definitely gets the best of me. I was completely shocked and then started laughing. I’ve always been a substitute. I completely forgot about it and never thought I would find myself in this position. So my ego was boosted.”
When asked how his children might react to his father’s public revelation of his sexuality, Dempsey admitted: “They’ll laugh at me.”
In December, Dempsey, an Emmy and Golden Globe nominee, is set to show off not only his acting prowess, but also his racing skills in the Michael Mann biopic “Ferrari,” playing Italian racer Piero Taruffi.
