Premiere of the latest song by The Beatles (video)

The official website of the legendary group The Beatles reports… the premiere of the song. We are talking about a composition called “Now and Then”.

It will be available to stream on November 2nd at 4:00 pm, with the music video for “Now and Then” dropping on Friday November 3rd. The message on the site says:

“Together and individually, The Beatles have always had a flair for the unexpected. And now 2023 will bring one of the most anticipated releases in their long and endlessly eventful history. “Now and Then” is the last Beatles song written and performed by John Lennon. Above It also featured Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr, and now, finally completed by Paul and Ringo, it will be released more than four decades later.”

The composition was recorded on cassette in the 1970s. Despite the rather poor quality, it was actually possible to recreate it using artificial intelligence. The song will be included as a double single alongside the band’s 1962 debut “Love Me Do”. The release cover is by renowned artist Ed Ruscha. On the site promise to announce more details later, including plans for world premieres.

Earlier, the son of John Lennon broke his oath and sang Imagine publicly for the first time in support of Ukraine. Julian Lennon stated that he would perform it “only in case of the end of the world.” In the caption to the video, Lennon Jr. called the war in Ukraine an unimaginable tragedy:

“I’ve always said that I would only sing ‘Imagine’ if the world was ending. But now the lyrics reflect our collective desire for world peace. Because with this song we are transported to a space where love and togetherness become our reality, at least for a moment… This song is the light at the end of the tunnel.”
