How to save on the metro: benefit of 200 euros

It is worth noting that when purchasing a package of 5 tickets for a total cost of 5.70 euros or 10+1 tickets for a total cost of 12.00 euros Maximum daily charge applies. That is, if you use 4 tickets from your purchased fare package on one day, you will not be charged for another ticket for the remaining trips on the same day. However, this does not apply to discounted tickets, which can only be paid for using personal ATHE.ENA CARDs. Concession ticket prices are €1.0 for a double single, €2.50 for a single 5 and €5.0 for a 10+1.

Ticket
Those who use public transport every day should look to long-term tickets, which offer passengers even greater financial benefits while no daily travel limit. However, you should be aware that payment for these products can only be made using a personalized card.

In particular, the 30-day package costs 27 euros (13.50 euros with discount), 90 days 78 euros (39 euros with discount), 180 days 155 euros (77.50 euros with discount) and 365 days 300 euros (150 euros with discount) discount).

For example, if someone uses the metro all weekdays of the year (without weekends) with two trips per day, then if he bought two single tickets for 1.2 euros, he would need 626.4 euros per year. However, the 365-day package costs €300, so you save €326.4. Even if we removed holidays when a person stays at home, then the benefit would still be large, exceeding 200 euros.

The above does not apply to airport transfers. For those traveling to and from the airport, the cost is 45 euros (22.50 euros discounted) for 30 days, 129 euros (64.50 discounted) for 90 days, 180 euros (114 discounted) for 180 and 446 euros (223 with discount) for 365 days.
