On Tuesday, the Greek Embassy in Beirut called on Greek citizens to leave Lebanon as soon as possible.
Due to the evolving situation in the region, the Greek Embassy in Beirut recommends that Greek citizens who are not permanent residents of Lebanon leave the country. In a post on X/Twitter, the Greek Embassy in Beirut advised Greeks to leave the country.

Other NATO countries have issued similar recommendations.
Let us recall that on October 15, the Greek Foreign Ministry published a travel recommendation to Israel, the Palestinian territories and Lebanon:“We recommend that Greek citizens avoid, unless absolutely necessary, visits to Israel, the Palestinian territories and Lebanon.”
