Chicken kebab has been recalled from store shelves due to salmonella being found in it.
Packages of the product are withdrawn from the market by the Unified Food Control Agency (EFET) due to the presence of the pathogen Salmonella spp. EFET and, in particular, the Regional Directorate of Attica, during inspections, carried out sampling at the company QUALITY MEAT DAVOUTIS SA. The company is located at st. Panaguli, 15. Frozen product weight 600 g, batch: L 14223, expiration date: 05/22/2024 (“Κεμπάπ κοτόπουλο-Μπιφτέκι κοτόπουλο (τύπο υ κεμπάπ) κατεψυγμένο” βάρος: 600 γρ., αριθ. παρτίδας: L 14223, ημ. ανάλωσης έως: 05.22.2024).
After laboratory examination of the above sample by the Food Hygiene Department ών) the presence of a potentially hazardous microorganism Salmonella spp. EFET has requested an immediate recall of the entire batch of the product in question and appropriate control measures are already in place.
The consumer protection authority urges citizens who have purchased this product not to eat it.
