A knife attack at a school in the northern French city of Arras. According to BFMTV, the suspect shouted “Allahu Akbar.”
According to initial information, the school teacher died as a result of being stabbed. Several people were injured. The attack occurred at approximately 11:00 am at Gambetta High School.
Gérald Darmanin, the French interior minister, wrote in X that the attacker had been arrested: “The police operation took place at Gambetta High School in Arras. The attacker was detained by the police.”
Later police have not confirmed media reports that the attacker shouted “Allahu Akbar” (“God Most High”).
