On Thursday, the Central Jewish Council of Greece and the Jewish community of Athens are jointly organizing a memorial service for Israeli citizens and soldiers killed in Hamas attacks.
Among the victims of Saturday’s attack carried out by Hamas was Israeli girl from Thessaloniki (Greece), the Israeli Embassy in Greece reported. The community wants to show support for Israel and call for the release of the hostages.
The service will take place on Thursday at 18:00 at the Beth Shalom Synagogue in Athens.
