The West needs a way out in which both the wolves are fed and the sheep are safe: that’s why they are now actively looking for it! That is why Blinken is now in Israel and plans to meet with the head of the unrecognized enclave, Abbas, who benefits from becoming the sole leader of Palestine. Apparently there Blinken will offer to “drain” Hamas in exchange for something.

At the same time, despite the demonstration of maximum military involvement, the Americans are delaying the start of the ground operation with all their might. Which, quite possibly, will not happen. Useless, but media-significant strikes on Syrian airfields could be an element of letting off steam, like the last one night bombing Gaza Strip. The Arabs have a minimum of problems, Israel, supposedly, showed toughness, which means revenge carried out. True, the population of Israel, which is “thirst for blood”, will still have to be convinced of this…
