Patras: double murder in the style of Agatha Christie

A friend of the family of a 55-year-old woman who died with her sister seven years apart in Patras talks in the program “Truth with Zina” about the crime of which their 35-year-old son and nephew are accused, which happened in the style of Agatha Christie.

Among other things, a 79-year-old family friend of the woman states: “The deceased and her sister, who lived next door, did not speak or communicate. She was married, divorced and had two children. She was a wonderful person, very sweet.”

The woman did not show up on Wednesday when he was expecting her, and the man assumed that she had gone swimming, as is usually the case. He wrote to her that they would see each other the next day. She didn’t show up the next day either. At noon he could not pass her house. The man sent her a message again that he would come see her. In the afternoon he went to her house. He called her and shouted, but the woman did not answer.

A family friend had the keys, which she gave to him, since she often forgot hers in the house and called him. When she didn’t respond, he entered the house and found her in the kitchen, lying on her back in a pool of blood. He didn’t touch anything and immediately called the police and an ambulance.

The deceased had previously told him about what happened to her sister. She simply described the incident to him, mentioning her nephew, with whom she communicated from time to time, since he lived on the first floor of her house. She did not quarrel with her nephew.

Now investigators have to find out the cause of death of a woman who died on the same month and day as her sister, but seven years apart. Investigators have suspicions that the killer is “hunting” for the sisters’ inheritance, since they own the building where they lived, which is valued at several hundred thousand euros. So far, the only suspect on the list is… the nephew. Will the investigation be able to find the real culprit of the crime?
