The release date for the €150 benefit for 18 and 19 year olds is approaching as the Youth Pass application platform is expected to open on 9 November.
Youth Pass is a digital debit card and can be used by businesses in the cultural, tourism and transport sectors. Statement served once and is not reapplied after the beneficiary reaches 19 years of age. So an 18-year-old applying for a Youth Pass this year will receive €150 this year and a further €150 in 2024. without the need to re-apply.
Young people will be able to submit applications either through a digital platform vouchers.gov.gr, or through KEP., from Friday, November 9 to Tuesday, December 5, and assistance will be paid by Sunday, December 10, 2023.
Youth Pass beneficiaries are young people who:
- are tax residents of Greece,
- turned 18 or 19 years old during the year preceding the application,
- submitted an application on the electronic platform.
According to the decision of the ministry, there are no property and income criteria. So, young people who turned 18 or 19 years old between 01/01/2022 and 12/31/2022 can apply for help this year.
