Livestock farmer Kostas Patsiouras is devastated after two-thirds of his sheep drowned during the devastating Cyclone Daniel.
When circumstances finally permitted, he visited the complex by boat and was confronted with disaster – his life’s work destroyed. The buildings of the complex are flooded with water, in some places it almost reaches the ceiling. The feed has been destroyed and there are dead sheep floating in the water everywhere, tells newsbeast.gr – 800 animals drowned.
