Under the slogans “No to digital electronic slavery!”, “No to the devil’s seal and chipping!” a protest rally is held, which brought together citizens who are negative about the government’s demand for the issuance of new documents with an enhanced degree of protection.
Activists protesting against the issuance of new identity cards (tavotit) to Greek citizens staged a real “light show” in the city center.
Many people gathered in the center of Athens on Syntagma. The protesters believe that the new police cards have a “chip” for monitoring citizens and “the devil’s number 666”.
Let us remember that a similar rally was held in Thessaloniki earlier.
