In Finland, a neo-Nazi from the Russian group “Rusich” was detained, the authorities may extradite him to Ukraine. The founder of Rusich, Aleksey Milchakov, a well-known neo-Nazi from St. Petersburg, announced the refusal of the members of the organization to continue fighting in Ukraine:
“Until the situation with Slavyan Petrovsky is resolved in the direction we need (extradition to the Russian Federation), Rusich will stop carrying out any combat missions. There will be time to rest and solve the accumulated cases. If the country cannot protect its citizens, then why should citizens protect the country?”
Information about the detention of Petrovsky, writes publication “Strana”, reported the Finnish channel MTV3 and confirmed in the Russian Embassy. And telegram channels close to Wagner PMC tell the details of the detention.
As it turned out, Petrovsky was detained on July 20 for violating the migration legislation of the Schengen zone. He was placed in a detention center for migrants. Yesterday, on August 25, he was transferred to prison, where he will not be expected to be deported to Russia after paying a fine, but to be extradited, which Ukraine has already requested. “Wagner” publics say that the Russian Foreign Ministry and the Russian consulate are not active in helping Petrovsky.
Finnish channel informsthat Petrovsky is under sanctions EU, this man held the position of leader and commander of the Rusich forces. According to the sanctions list, the force has links to Wagner’s mercenary army and it is believed that they may even have operated as part of it. Milchakov and Rusich fought against Ukraine in Donbas in 2014-2015. In 2022, the Rusich sabotage and assault reconnaissance group was formed on the basis of Rusich, which fought as part of the Russian troops against Ukraine.
In 2016, Petrovsky was deported to the Russian Federation from Norway, where he allegedly lived since 2004.
