An incredible incident in Nafplio: a pot fell on the man’s head from the second floor of the building, and he was taken to the hospital by ambulance to provide assistance.
The incident took place at 11 am on Monday 21 August. A married couple from Thessaloniki left the hotel on Kapodistriou street near I.N. Agios Spyridon (Ι.Ν. Αγίου Σπυρίδωνα). Passing by a neoclassical building, they were “attacked” – a flower pot fell from the hands of an elderly woman who was standing at the second floor window, and hit the man in the head.
People around him rushed to help the bloodied victim, the police and the ambulance of Argolis arrived at the scene. The couple was taken to the hospital for treatment.
An elderly woman, the unwitting culprit of the incident, was also in a state of shock. She said that at some point a strong wind suddenly closed the shutters, knocking the pot out of her hands, writes newsbeast.gr.
