During the “Cleon” heat wave, Greek hospitals admitted citizens with symptoms of heat stroke.
Only yesterday, on Sunday, July 23, when the air temperature reached record highs, 31 patients with heat stroke were admitted to hospitals on duty from 8 am to 8 pm. Since last Wednesday, when the new Cleon heat wave began its offensive, 104 cases have been recorded when EKAV has taken citizens to hospitals with the corresponding symptoms of overheating.
Wherein there were many more who had a problem but were in no hurry to seek medical help. In the coming days, a new temperature jump is expected, possibly reaching up to +48°C.

This applies both to vulnerable groups (old people, infants, children, people with severe chronic diseases) and to the entire population as a whole.
