The auditors of the tax office ΑΑΔΕ found incorrect declarations of more than 2.5 million euros in income tax and 600,000 euros in VAT.

As a result, a well-known confectionery in the center of Athens was closed for 48 hours, and a large fine was imposed on the company. According to the information, from January to today, the confectionery did not pass receipts for a total amount of more than 1.3 million euros through its cash desk. The auditors went even further and processed the company’s tax data from 2017 to the present. They discovered an incorrect income and VAT declaration hiding from the state 2.5 million euros in income tax and 600,000 euros in VAT.

The control continues, in addition to blocking the store, a fine of 225,000 euros has been imposed.
