A 50-year-old man was injured while riding a jet ski off the coast of the island of Lefkada.
A serious accident occurred at noon on Friday (July 21) in Lefkada, when a man was injured while driving a jet ski. The incident took place in the maritime area of Kastos, the man was taken by “sea taxi” to Mitikas, from where he will be picked up by an EKAB ambulance.
The information indicates that the man was traveling on a yacht. Bored, he took a jet ski, hoping to “ride with the breeze.” However, he lost control, he fell jetski and hit his head.

According to preliminary information, his cervical vertebrae were damaged. The severity of injuries and the prognosis for later life (perhaps a man will be paralyzed from the neck and below, and remain disabled for life) will be determined by the doctors – specialists of the clinic.
