A woman in the Philippines was robbed by… a fish, snatching a phone out of her hands and leaving both herself and those around her in shock.
The victim was on a boat off the coast of Leyte province, taking pictures with her friend, when a silver flying fish jumped and “grabbed” the phone on the fly, which lay on the tourist’s lap. The gadget fell into the sea, and the Filipina, one might say, was speechless from what happened.
Her friend filmed the event. It shows a fish jumping into a boat, colliding with a mobile phone, which in turn falls into the ocean. Makilan is confused as she tries to figure out where her phone has gone. And as soon as she realizes that the device is now at the bottom of the sea because of the fish, she begins to worry.
The two women immediately reported the incident to the skipper, who dived into the water and tried to find the cell phone, but to no avail. However, to everyone’s surprise, a few hours later the device washed ashore.
Or maybe the fish just needed to urgently call someone?
