Policemen from the DI.AS team. and EKAB rescuers helped a foreign woman who felt unwell while on the Holy Rock of the Acropolis. Despite the warnings of the authorities, meteorologists and competent civil protection services, people apparently do not understand how such a “campaign” could end for them, whether it be to the Acropolis, or to shopping. When the temperature outside is +42°C, you need to protect your body from extreme weather.
We remind you that the Acropolis will be closed today from 12:00 to 17:00 due to the heat. TOas indicated in the relevant announcement: “The Athens Antiquities Authority officially announces that today, Friday 14 July 2023, the archaeological site and the Acropolis will suspend their work during the noon hours, from 12:00 to 17:00. will remain open historical sights Ancient Agora and Kerameikos where you can visit the Archaeological Museums. Thank you for your understanding”.
