A British tourist is brutally beaten by nightclub bouncers in the resort of Laganas on the island of Zakynthos. Police have arrested at least one suspect. The beating was filmed and posted on social media.
The victim, a 19-year-old British tourist, was surrounded by bouncers who kicked and punched him nonstop.

According to the state broadcaster ERT, the young victim recognized only one of the perpetrators of the beating – a club employee. The offender was arrested, brought to the prosecutor and brought before the court in the usual manner.
The information about the reasons that led to the fight and, ultimately, to the beating of the tourist is confusing. However, according to club workers, they intervened after a violent and out-of-control Brit had previously beaten a 19-year-old girl by hitting her with a bottle. In support of their words, they also posted photos of the beaten girl. The incident reportedly took place on Friday, July 7, 2023.
