Singer Madonna is in intensive care

Madonna’s family believes the pop star pushed herself to the limit to compete with younger artists like Taylor Swift and Pink and ended up in intensive care with a serious infection as a result.

The 64-year-old legendary singer was pushed to her limits ahead of her highly anticipated “Celebration” tour, which resulted in her sudden fainting and intubation, people close to her told the Sun. “She was working overtime and was clearly exhausted… The people around her politely reminded her that she was no longer 45, not to mention 25,” her friend added, adding that the singer constantly forced herself to work, not giving her body a break.

Both Swift, 33, and Pink, 43, have recently embarked on their own tours, which have been a hit! To be able to compete with them, Madonna forced herself grueling rehearsal schedule that landed her in the hospital. Those around her noticed how tough her schedule was and were very worried about her health. In fact, she could have suffered the same fate as Michael Jackson*, who died suddenly before the 2009 tour.

*Michael Jackson – winner of 15 Grammy awards and hundreds of other awards. 25 times listed in the Guinness Book of Records; Around 450 million Jackson records have been sold worldwide. Michael Jackson died on June 25, 2009 as a result of an overdose of drugs, in particular, propofol.

“Many of us believe that the constant comments about her age made her struggle, so we are glad that she had to take a break and put her health first. People were very worried about her,” the same source said.

The above confession comes just a day after a friend of the superstar told Page Six that Madonna tried to keep up with her dancers, who are much younger than her. The singer worked around the clock to prepare for the tour a week before she was admitted to the hospital.

It is noted that after several days of hospitalization, Madonna was discharged and returned home, where she continues treatment.
