Nearly 2 out of 3 beneficiaries of employment programs were employed after graduation

First ΔΥΠΑ (former OAED) has begun evaluating employment programs in terms of the progress of beneficiaries and their return to the labor market after completing subsidized skills development courses.

The ΔΥΠΑ Strategic Planning Department analyzed data from the integrated information system DYPAcombining them with the ERGANI system of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, concerning 40,000 beneficiaries who completed 11 different job creation programs from June 2020 to December 2021.

In particular, the ERGANI audit revealed the conclusion of an employment relationship (with any employer) at 3 points in time:

  • 1 day,
  • 6 months,
  • 12 months after the expected end date of the program.

According to data analysis:

  • 74% of beneficiaries were employed 1 day after the end of the program.
  • 70% of beneficiaries found a job 6 months after the end of the program.
  • 64% of beneficiaries returned to work within 12 months after the end of the program.

A detailed report on the results is expected to be published in the near future.
