Police have arrested two shoppers in Florina who stole large sums of groceries from two supermarkets.
Yesterday morning, the women purchased various goods “free of charge” for a total of 1,184.5 euros. A police investigation led to the discovery and arrest of vehicle IX, with a 38-year-old woman driving and a 57-year-old in the passenger seat. Some of the stolen food and two hundred euros in cash were found inside the vehicle.
- During the search, the rest of the stolen food and four hundred and twenty euros were found. Goods after confiscation returned to the rightful owner. The car and the entire amount of money were confiscated. The arrested women were taken to the criminal prosecutor’s office of Florina, informs newsbeast.gr.
