Thousands of applications for participation in the Social Tourism program were registered during the first 24 hours of the platform’s operation.
In the first day after its activation, more than 25,000 applications for 47,000 social tourism packages were submitted, and the process continues at an intensive pace. Acceptance of applications for Social tourism program for workers/unemployed of the State Employment Service for 2023-2024 began yesterday, May 30 (with TAXISnet codes). The platform opens according to the last digit of the number AFM.

The selection of beneficiaries is based on the scoring of specific criteria (disability, single parent, number of children, income) through the ΔΥΠΑ integrated information system.
For the first time, the program starts a month earlier (July 1 instead of August 1) and covers 300,000 beneficiaries with a budget of 35 million euros. Beneficiaries can spend up to 6 nights in accommodation they choose from the ΔΥΠΑ provider registry, after consultation with the provider, with a small private financial contribution.
