Fire in Anavyssos: Aerial Fire Forces are involved

The fire broke out at noon on Saturday 27 June in Anavisso, in Attica, or rather, in Pyrgos Melissourgou.

According to police, the fire broke out in a wooded area. On the central avenue of Anavyssos (at the height of Agia Paraskevi Street), a post was set up and traffic was blocked. The fire service consisting of 57 people and 15 vehicles arrived at the scene of the incident, and a helicopter is engaged in extinguishing the fire from the air. The fire started in the countryside and moved towards the sea.

Finally, after a large-scale extinguishing operation, the fire was localized. No houses were reportedly damaged.
