Members of the interim cabinet of ministers of Greece took the oath

The interim government, appointed on May 25, was sworn in before the President of the Republic and will lead the country to the second round of elections to be held on June 25 this year.

Prime Minister Ioannis Sarmas, immediately after the swearing in of the government, will preside over the cabinet meeting in Megaro Maximu. The ministers will then go to their respective ministries for a handover ceremony.

“It is a great honor that they entrust us with this duty to the state. We will carry it out properly so that there are no gaps in the activities of the state,” Foreign Minister Vassilis Kaskarelis said.

“We will close the outstanding issues, the Prime Minister took me and told me to take over as Minister of Justice,” said incoming Justice Minister Philippos Spyropoulos.
