The leadership of New Democracy is seriously concerned about finding a way to deal with the electorate of 13 parties that were excluded from the elections by decisions of the Supreme Court, parties that represent almost 12% of the votes of all voters.
At the same time, supporters of 12 out of 13 parties will vote categorically against Mitsotakis, the editors of the publication believe. pronews. And in the center of all this is the Hellenes National Party (Greeks), which remained behind election board due to two constitutionally dubious amendments excluding her from the electoral process.
The question is, which side will these voters, and there are about 700,000 of them, and especially who will join the most active voters, those who supported the party of Kasidiaris, and this is at least 7% of the electorate. Already the first poll of the Greek publication pronews.gr showed that every fourth voter will vote for SYRIZA, solely for reasons of “political revenge” against the ND.
A process that began precisely on the basis of political revenge after the local elections of 2014, as a result of which Rena Duru from SYRIZA and G. Moralis in Piraeus became the heads of the regions. A common feature of both was their opposition to A. Samaras, who persecuted and imprisoned supporters of nationalist parties.
Then came the 2015 referendum where the nationalist right and the patriotic left joined forces and the OHI won no matter what happened next, then SYRIZA abstained from voting to expel them from parliament, etc. When asked whether this line of voting against ND and for SYRIZA with the characteristic “voting out of a desire for revenge” can pass, the leader of the National Party of Greece, H. Kasidiaris himself, answered with the following statement:
“The media systems imply that in the first election I will support the party. Even in my thoughts I am not going to support a party that will nominate former ministers and deputies of the government of Samara, Papandreou, Papademos. Those who became the crutches of the New Democracy and PASOK, along with Adonis, Voridis and Velopoulos, for the adoption of the first memorandum, will definitely become crutches again today.
Note that some may accuse H.Kasidiaris of many things, but he and his party team are distinguished by absolute consistency in words and deeds. And in this case, the divorce EAN occurred when Kanellopoulos wanted to include Rondoulis and Aivalotis from the LAOS party on the ballot. Kasidiaris also did not “take a step back”, although at a joint meeting of the organizing committee of the Greek National Party with T. Kanellopoulos, he even received candidates from the patriotic PASOK.
With this statement, H.Kasidiaris casts a “shadow” not only on EANbut also New Democracy and PASOK. He speaks politically, but gives a clear line of refusal in which he excludes SYRIZA!
The anxiety of the ND after his message is such that it caused… Adonis Georgiadis, whom SYRIZA considers “right” or even “extreme right”, to give a speech to a nationalist audience about the reasons why… X. Kasidiaris is in prison, and why his voters “shouldn’t listen to him”!
Apparently, they do not know that A. Georgiadis in the normal “Greek right” is a completely unreliable and politically reprehensible person for many reasons. And what he says will have the exact opposite effect at the ballot box.
