Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky fears that after the failed assassination attempt on Vladimir Putin, his plane could be shot down by the Russians.

Just a few hours after the attack on the Kremlin, the Russian Air Force sent Russian Su-35S fighters to the borders of Ukraine, which were looking for the Ukrainian president’s plane returning from Finland.

However, Volodymyr Zelensky changed his route and decided to visit Holland, from where he declared that the Ukrainian counterattack would be successful, and once again asked the West for weapons.

Yesterday, V. Zelensky returned from the Netherlands by plane via Poland, from where he went to Ukraine by land.

Zelensky flew from the Netherlands to Poland on an American C-17A military transport aircraft, which was escorted by US Air Force aircraft, namely, at least one E-3C AWACS aircraft.

Zelensky’s visit caused a stir in Germany

Volodymyr Zelenskyy will visit Germany in the coming days, a visit that both sides wanted to keep secret.

However, information was leaked to the media that he would visit Germany, and even details of the program and references to security measures appeared.

The visit was kept secret until the last minute and was not confirmed by the Chancellery, which has caused alarm among the German authorities, who are conducting an internal investigation to determine how the information was leaked.

The Crime Squad is investigating a case “on suspicion of treason” over the dissemination of confidential information, as the Berliner Zeitung newspaper was the first to publish yesterday the details of the planning of the Ukrainian President’s visit to Berlin on May 13 and 14.

The newspaper quoted a “police official” in Berlin and even mentioned the hotel where Mr. Zelensky was to stay. Very quickly, this information was picked up by all the German media, in order, according to the news site t-online, to cause strong discontent in Kyiv – where they even started talking about canceling the visit. “Such behavior is irresponsible and could call into question a possible visit by the President of Ukraine,” Ukrainian government sources said, according to the website.

According to the original leak, Volodymyr Zelensky was scheduled to meet Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Chancellor Olaf Scholz on May 14 before flying to Aachen in a military helicopter to receive the Charlemagne Prize.
