For 93.83% of the goods included in the “family basket”, prices are reduced or remain constant in the 27th week of the implementation of the state assistance program (05/03/2023 – 05/09/2023), while its average cost decreased by -1.1% compared to the previous week.
This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Development of Greece. Out of a total of 1134 items in the “family basket”, prices for many are completely comparable.
Data on the “family basket” at the 27th week:
- for 55 goods and products (4.85%), the price has decreased,
- for 1009 products and goods (88.98%), the price remained stable,
- for 70 products and goods (6.17%) the price increased.

There was only one, but not the last problem, the availability of goods from the “housewife’s basket” list. And with this, as real practice shows, not everything is as good as the minister assures us.
