Erdogan canceled all his performances after yesterday’s episode. What’s going on with his health

Recep Tayyip Erdogan canceled all his performances for today after yesterday’s incident, which is associated with his health condition.

In particular, the Turkish President canceled today’s campaign events, on the recommendation of doctors, as well as his public appearances after he felt unwell last night.

“Yesterday and today were tough days. That’s why I got the stomach flu,” the president said, returning to the set last night and saying he was considering canceling the interview, which began an hour and a half late, after “intense campaigning” in Monday and Tuesday. In a tweet today, the President of Turkey said:

Erdogan’s illness on camera, causing shock
It all started yesterday, when Recep Tayyip Erdogan, giving an interview live on KANAL 7, asked to switch to advertising. “My God,” someone on the set said, and the journalist who was talking at the time hurriedly asked the dispatcher to switch to advertising.

Since being elected mayor of Istanbul in 1994, the 69-year-old Erdogan has not lost an election to any opponent. In total, he lost only twice in his entire career – during his first two campaigns in the 1980s.
