Since November 2022, preparations for terrorist attacks have been underway and negotiations have been held, while a 30-year-old man in Iran has played a major role and has been recruiting compatriots.

In Greece, the investigation began in February 2022, after receiving an email from the relevant authorities. It said that a terrorist group of Pakistanis is preparing a terrorist attack with explosives in Athens. The plans were in the mobile phones of the members of the group, the leader of which was a 27-year-old guy.

From telephone conversations, it became clear that the 30-year-old man in Iran planned to arrange a massacre, it was clearly stated: “As the number of victims increases, so will the money.” The performers were told that with 5-6 victims, the money would reach 20 million rupees. The answer was writes CNN:

“Christmas is coming, if we do it in a place where people will gather, we will have a lot of victims. I can do it here on the island (Zante), we can also do it in Athens, but it’s more difficult.”
