Matina Pagoni was the victim of a scam

Matina Pagoni, president of ΕΙΝΑΠ, the Association of Physicians of Athens and Piraeus Hospitals, intends to take legal action over the fraudulent use of her name.

Ms. Pagoni has discovered that her name has been used in an advertisement for a fungus drug and worries that the drug can be dangerous when consumed:

“What I’m afraid of is that I don’t know what this drug is, is it dangerous.”

Matina Pagoni explained that she would definitely file a lawsuit on Monday, as she considers what happened to be a serious enough reason for this, writes Greek edition of newsbeast.gr:

“What I’m afraid of is that I don’t know what kind of product it is, how and by whom it is made, maybe it’s dangerous. This is a pretty serious matter. On Monday we will file a lawsuit, we will go to the prosecutor’s office, we will see what can be done.”

Previously, our publication told how Matina Pagoni became a victim of theftwhen an unknown person stole her wallet from one of the supermarkets in Chalandri. She went to the store, paid the bill for the purchased groceries at the checkout, and later discovered that someone had stolen her wallet from an open bag.
