The second earthquake in a day with a magnitude of 7.7 on the Richter scale occurred in Turkey, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center reported.
The strongest seismic vibrations were recorded in the central part and in the eastern regions of Turkey, tremors were felt in Ankara. The force of the elements was also felt in Damascus, Latakia and a number of other provinces of Syria, SANA reports.
