On the air of Ukrainian radio, a message was heard several times that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was in intensive care in a serious condition.
The Presidential Office denied the message, assuring that everything was fine with the head of state. On July 21, Ukrainian radio was attacked by hackers who hastened to declare that the speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, had assumed the presidency, says “Country”. The message about Zelensky’s illness was broadcast on several radio channels.
The Office of the President stated that this was a fake and reported a hacker attack on one of the largest Ukrainian radio holdings TAVR Media. The relevant services are solving the problem. TAVR Media reported:
“At the moment, the relevant services are working to solve this problem. We note that not a single information about the health problems of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is true.”
Presidential spokesman Sergei Nikiforov also denied the report:
“What it was – this is a question for those who ensure the technical functioning of the radio stations. Everything is fine with the president, everything is in order with his health. Today he held a regular meeting with the security forces. He is performing his usual duties.”
