Deputy head of the SBU Naumov may be extradited to Russia

Last week, Andriy Naumov, the former head of the internal security department of the Security Service of Ukraine, was detained in Serbia on suspicion of money laundering.

Earlier it was reported that Serbian border guards stopped a BMW car at the Presevo border checkpoint, driven by 36-year-old German citizen Alexander Akst. Naumov was in the car with him. The men planned to leave for North Macedonia. During a search of the car, the police found about 600 thousand euros, almost 125 thousand dollars and two emeralds undeclared.

Both men were detained by the police of the city of Nis on suspicion of money laundering. However, later the Serbian authorities specified that Naumov had US$20 million.

Naumov headed the Main Department of Internal Security of the SBU from the summer of 2019 to July 2021. In 2020, President Zelensky awarded him the rank of brigadier general, the publication reports. Ukrainian truth.

Naumov was appointed to the SBU by a certain Gerasimenko, an adviser to Bakanov. But he jumped over Bakanov’s head and began to bring Yermak personally. This is most likely the money of Yermak, the head of the President’s Office, informs Anatoly Shary.

Previously, Naumov worked at the Prosecutor General’s Office and the State Agency for the Management of the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone. As head of the internal security department, he was responsible for controlling the SBU officers themselves so that they would not commit corruption. Information about the work of this unit is secret.

Journalist Yuri Butusov called Naumov “the right hand” and friend of the head of the SBU Ivan Bakanov. Some UP sources identify him almost as Bakanov’s “purse”.

Be that as it may, Russia will get Naumov. And with him – ALL the secrets of Ukraine.
