After the festive Epiphany service in the Holy Trinity Cathedral in Piraeus, in compliance with all measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus, the blessing of the waters and diving for the cross took place.
The ceremony took place from a special platform on which only a few people stood. Metropolitan Seraphim of Piraeus conducted it. The believers were at the distance allowed by sanitary norms from each other.
Dionysius Petridis, the father of three girls, managed to catch the Holy Cross. He said he did it with love for them.
