Three people died in Turin, Italy, in the north of the country when construction cranes collapsed.
Two heavy structures, intended for restoration work to repair the facade of a multi-storey building in Via Genova, collapsed on the roadway. Two workers died instantly, the third died later in the hospital.
One of the construction cranes was involved in assembling the second, and the fall of one caused the second to collapse, according to law enforcement reports. Debris scattered across the rooftops and the road. Several passers-by were injured and injured.
