Two earthquakes, magnitude 4.2 and 4.1, during the night – in Crete and near Aegio.
Tremors measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale at 02:48 were recorded northeast of the city of Aigio. The epicenter was located 1 km from it. The focal depth was 13.2 km.
A little later, at 05:43, the Geodynamic Institute of Athens recorded an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.1, characterized as “weak”, east of Crete. The epicenter was located in the sea, 65 km south / southeast of Zakros (Lassithi). The source depth was 15.8 km.
