Russia: during the performance, the bear attacked the trainer

In the Russian city of Oryol, during a circus performance, a huge bear unexpectedly attacked a pregnant trainer.

In the video footage, the trainer’s assistant approaches the initially calm bear. However, he unexpectedly attacks a woman, knocking her into the arena. Two men are trying to drag the angry beast away from the woman.

Local media reported that the incident occurred at the evening performance of the circus. The injured trainer was hospitalized. How severe the injuries were, is not specified. It is only known that the woman was pregnant.
