The man who offered a vaccination center nurse € 500 for fake vaccination from Covid-19, was identified and put on the wanted list.
According to investigators from the district police station, this is a 31-year-old man with his stated home address in Nea Makri. He was identified by the applicant nurse from a surveillance photograph shown to her by the police.
It is noted that he had an appointment, which he recorded with his real data.
A case was initiated against him for giving a bribe to a civil servant in the line of duty. The case file will be transferred to the prosecutor, who is expected to try to find out if the 31-year-old man gave any of the doctors money before.
Giving a bribe to an official is a serious criminal offense under Greek law. The punishment for this can be up to 10 years or more in prison.
