Coronavirus: monitoring compliance with the introduced measures in public catering facilities

The government intends to impose strict control over the implementation of the new measures, based on which all visitors to indoor premises – cafeterias, restaurants, clubs – must present a vaccination certificate or a certificate of a past illness along with an identity card to exclude the possibility of the spread of a dangerous virus.

The government admits that, of course, the application of the measure will lead to some disruptions in the operation of the establishments, but the authorities estimate that any such phenomena will be temporary. Both catering and entertainment owners will find a way to attract customers … by creating a directory of visitors with an “account” (that is, if it has passed once, then they will no longer be constantly checking).

According to a source in the government, the measures taken against the pandemic, which are being implemented, plus the conduct of strict control and verification of the identity of a citizen at the entrance to the institution, is a kind of “payment” for avoiding local or universal lockdown (quarantine) in the coming winter.

Intensive control is carried out by the competent authorities in order to unquestioningly comply with the provisions that also apply to workers in this field (presentation of a vaccination certificate, a certificate of a past illness or negative test results for covid).
