Covid was found in 30 vaccinated in a nursing home in Thessaloniki. Most of them are over 70 years old, among those infected there is a working nurse.
The Thessaloniki Elderly Care Center has sounded the alarm as dozens of cases of coronavirus have been identified. According to the results of tests, which began on August 18, at least 30 people were infected. According to information from the site grtimes.gr, as a result of ongoing monitoring of the situation, about 50 close contacts have been established at the moment. They all have mild symptoms, and it is noted that both staff and people living in the institution are vaccinated.
According to the same information, the measures taken all this time against the spread of coronavirus are very strict, and therefore it remains unknown how the deadly virus entered the nursing home.
