The matured baby from the cover decided to sue the group Nirvana. The 30-year-old says he is the very baby on the cover of Nirvana’s Nevermind album. The man thinks it is “child pornography”.
American Spencer Eldon is now 30 years old, and he is demanding moral compensation for the image of his genitals. For all the years of growing up, according to the man, he experienced stress, which negatively affected his life, because of which he had to seek help from therapists.
Eldon eventually filed a lawsuit against multiple defendants, including surviving band members Dave Grohl and Christ Novoselic, as well as the late Kurt Cobain’s heirs and the cover photographer. The young man demands 150 thousand dollars from each person involved in the case.
The lawsuit alleges that the nude image on the album cover was child pornography that the band members used commercially to promote themselves and their music.
The album cover of Nevermind is recognized as one of the most recognizable, defining the “image” of pop culture. It depicts a naked child underwater in a pool, swimming towards a dollar bill attached to a fishhook.
