Greece’s shipping minister announced on Wednesday that passengers on ferries and ships must complete a health declaration form, whether they have a Covid-19 vaccination certificate, a negative rapid test result, or a negative PCR result.
In an interview with state-run ERT TV, Shipping Minister Yannis Plakiotakis said the measure would ensure a smoother and faster boarding process.
According to the minister, any passenger who wishes can fill out a form on website of the Ministry of Shipping (in Greek). Passengers must fill out the form online and print it out (because every home has a printer).

In addition to personal data, including the phone number, the name of the shipping company, the name of the vessel and the seat / cabin number, the passenger must also answer 10 questions about his health, possible contacts with carriers of Covid-19, etc.
The questionnaire is filled out by all passengers over 18 years of age, who also provide information for accompanied minors under 18 years of age.
Document must be presented before boarding
Minister Plakiotakis reiterated that all passengers traveling to / from the Greek Islands must have a vaccination certificate or negative PCR test (72 hours before boarding), negative rapid test or negative self test (the previous day or the day of travel).
The minister added that currently the ship loading is 85% for ferries with sleeping cabins and 80% for ferries without cabins.
