According to data provided by the National Observatory of Athens, on Easter Sunday, the weather was particularly “hot”.
As forecasters told meteo.gr, on Easter Sunday, many parts of Greece set new temperature records relative to the first decade of May. An indicator of how high the maximum air temperature was, are the data presented below.
They clearly show the deviations of the maximum temperatures on Easter Sunday in relation to their average maximum values in the first ten days of May during the decade – 2010-2019.
“We observe that the deviation of the maximum temperatures in some places exceeded 7-9 degrees, while in Crete the maximum temperatures were 13.5 ° higher than the normal figure for the season,” notes meteo.gr.
