In the Ukrainian Zaporozhye, a schoolgirl oversaw the “death group”, the press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General said on Thursday. The “community” consisted of 28 members.
A senior pupil of one of the city schools created a “death group”. The official website of the Prosecutor General’s Office reports:
Positioning herself as a curator, the girl on social networks sent messages to the subscribers of the group with tasks for a non-standard way out of difficult life situations and incited them to inflict bodily harm on themselves or commit suicide in various ways.
During the search, law enforcement officers found and seized the schoolgirl’s phone, where they found photographs of handwritten suicide notes of the group members. An investigation is in progress. The actions of a high school student fall under the article on attempted suicide or on driving to suicide – part 1 of article 120 of the Criminal Code.
And once again an appeal to all parents. Be attentive to your children, do not leave them alone with the dangers of the Internet. If you notice any changes in your child’s behavior, have a heart-to-heart talk with him. Perhaps this will help to avoid not a virtual, but, unfortunately, a real tragedy.
