A 14-year-old girl who was a victim of rape on the island of Lesvos shared her story with others. She reported that two young men, one 21 years older and the other 22, attacked her and threatened to post the video on the Internet.
According to ERT, the attackers knew the minor and at some point convinced her go for a car ride with them. However, instead of walking they They brought her to an abandoned warehouse, where they committed violence. The incident reportedly occurred on August 20. The two scoundrels didn't stop there. They decided to film their actions and post them on the Internet.
Then they began to blackmail the girl, and on October 8 she told her parents about everything. On October 12, the parents reported the incident to the police. Thursday the girl attempted suicide and was hospitalized. It is for this reason that the 14-year-old decided to share her story.
By order of the prosecutor, the girl will be examined by a forensic expert to determine whether she was subjected to violence and to what extent. According to the local newspaper “Νησί”, which brought this information to the public, the case has already been transferred to the district prosecutor of Mytilene, which the police confirmed. The Lesbos Police Department has identified the perpetrators. The prosecutor is expected to evaluate the preliminary investigation to then decide whether to issue an arrest warrant.
