9 out of 10 drivers risk a fine of up to €700 – what should be removed from the car

Prohibited accessories and even forgotten items in the trunk can lead to unpleasant consequences and result in a fine of up to 700 euros, which will be deducted from our bank account.

At first glance, harmless “improvements” to your favorite car, as well as some additions to its equipment or transportation of objects that pose a danger to other road users, can create difficulties in driving and lead to a fine. The list of accessories prohibited by traffic regulations includes: tow bar, tinted windows, audio and exhaust systems that cause noise pollution, as well as “covering” the license plate, etc.

In addition, a fine threatens those who transport prohibited items in the luggage compartment of a car. According to traffic regulations, it is prohibited to transport in the trunk of our car:

  • pets,
  • objects protruding from the body or dragging along the ground,
  • oversized items that are too heavy,
  • containers with fuel.

If you do not want to pay large sums for your habits, then you should carefully inspect the trunk and remove from the car all items that could cause problems with the law.
