In front of the Queen Louise Bridge on the border with the Russian Federation, Lithuania has placed concrete anti-tank pyramids, mines and anti-tank hedgehogs.
The bridge connects Lithuania with the Russian city of Sovetsk in the Kaliningrad region. The Lithuanian Defense Ministry reported:
“This is a precautionary measure to ensure more effective defense.”
Today, Lithuania set up a blockade on and near the bridge in 🇱🇹Panemunė, linking Lithuania & Russia. Demonstrating our new military counter-mobility measures, the setup includes mines, hedgehogs, dragon's teeth, etc. This is a precautionary step to ensure more effective defense. pic.twitter.com/S82UaU6rEf
